CROSSFIT GOREY MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

This Membership Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between CrossFit Gorey ("the Gym") and the undersigned individual ("Member"), collectively referred to as "Parties."

1. Membership Terms and Conditions:

1.1. Membership Type: The Member agrees to select a membership term, which may include options such as monthly, 6 month, or 12 month membership.

1.2. Membership Fees: The Member agrees to pay the applicable membership fees as outlined by the Gym for the chosen membership type. Fees may be subject to change with prior notice.

1.3. Membership Duration: The membership term shall begin on the agreed-upon start date and shall continue for the duration specified in the selected membership type. Membership may automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with section 2.2.

1.4. Age Requirement: The Member must be at least 18 years old to enter into this Agreement. Minors must have a legal guardian or parent sign on their behalf.

1.5. Health and Safety: The Member acknowledges that participation in CrossFit and related activities carries inherent risks and certifies that they are in good health and capable of safely participating in physical exercise.

2. Membership Cancellation and Freeze:

2.1. Cancellation: The Member may cancel their membership by providing written notice to the Gym at least 30 days before the desired cancellation date. Cancellation requests received after the billing cycle will take effect in the following month.

2.2. Automatic Renewal: Memberships may automatically renew according to the chosen membership type. The Member must provide written notice to prevent automatic renewal at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the current membership term.

2.3. Membership Freeze: Members may request a temporary membership freeze for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months per year. A written request must be submitted at least 15 days prior to the desired freeze start date.

3. Payment Terms:

3.1. Billing: The Member authorizes the Gym to charge the agreed-upon membership fees to the provided payment method. Billing occurs on the 28th of each month.

3.2. Late Payments: In the event of a declined payment or late payment, the Gym reserves the right to suspend the Member's access to facilities and services until payment is settled.

4. Facility Use:

4.1. Code of Conduct: The Member agrees to abide by the Gym's code of conduct, including respectful behavior towards staff and fellow members, proper use of equipment, and adherence to class schedules.

4.2. Facility Hours: The Gym's operating hours may vary. The Member acknowledges that the Gym may modify its operating hours with reasonable notice.

5. Liability and Indemnification:

5.1. Assumption of Risk: The Member understands that physical exercise carries risks and agrees to participate at their own risk. The Gym shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during participation.

5.2. Indemnification: The Member agrees to indemnify and hold the Gym, its owners, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of their participation in Gym activities.

6. Agreement Modifications:

6.1. Amendments: The Gym reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement with reasonable notice to the Member. Continued use of membership after receiving notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

7.1. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.

7.2. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through negotiation and, if necessary, through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Irish law.
