Farewell to Coach Jamie!
This week we say farewell to Coach Jamie! :( His last day of coaching is Saturday and we’re holding a farewell workout at the 9:30am class. We’d love if you could make it and join us as we say goodbye to one of the good ones.
Jamie has been a long standing member of CFG, he joined the coaching staff over five years ago and has recently attained his level 3 CrossFit Training credential. We are beyond proud of his growth and the progress he’s made, as well as the positive influence he’s brought to the gym. He has always brought great energy to his classes and an attention to detail when it comes to his craft. We wanted to take this opportunity to thank him for his loyalty, passion and dedication over the years and wish him the very best in his new role. It’s not goodbye, just good luck!
Goodbye to CFG!
I wanted to let you all know that I'll be finishing up my time here at the gym as I move into a new role at CrossFit Solas in Greystones.
After five and a bit years of coaching, it's hard to put into words how much l've appreciated being part of the CFG team.
Working here has shaped me not only as a coach but as a person. I've learned so much from all of you and I want to thank you all for your support, your trust, and effort as I made the transition into my coaching role.
Although I'm excited for this next step, I'll miss the energy, the members, and the team spirit that made coming in every day to train something I looked forward to. CrossFit Gorey has been like a second home.
You can’t take the Wexford out of the man, so although I’m gone for now, I doubt I’ll be gone for good.
